The most challenging case to treat
During my several years working across London as a professional massage therapist, I have encountered clients with varied health issues. One of my current clients suffers from congenital scoliosis; after several months working together and developing a treatment plan my client has significantly less pain and thereby hugely improved her quality of day-to-day life.
What is the most common advise you give to your patients?
I always ask my clients to be truthful on their current health condition, e.g. any injury or pregnancy, so that I can then tailor the massage to ensure they get the best experience. Post massage, I remind my clients to perform some stretching and to ensure to drink plenty of water to help flush out any toxins from the body.
What makes a good physiotherapist?
To ensure the best experience for the client, the massage therapist should be technically knowledgeable/qualified; treat his clients with a superior level of care and professionalism; listen to the clients ailments; invest in continued learning and qualifications and finally have a keen interest in general wellness and therapies.
